Three new vodkas will sit alongside the distillery’s award-winning range of gins
Masons of Yorkshire today unveils a trio of vodkas – Classic, Citrus and Espresso – which will sit alongside the distillery’s award-winning gins.
Created with versatility in mind, the three new vodkas have been slowly distilled to ensure a smooth liquid of the highest quality.
Masons Classic Vodka boasts a fresh and clean flavour, with a distinct purity, making it the ideal base in long drinks and cocktails, or simply over ice.
Tapping into the trend for espresso martinis, Masons Espresso Vodka has been vapour-infused with coffee beans sourced from El Salvador and supplied by neighbouring Yorkshire roaster Rounton Coffee. As well as an innovative base for cocktails, it can be served neat for a flavourful alternative, much like Masons Citrus Vodka. Delicately infused with fresh lemon and grapefruit, the result is a crisp and punchy vodka.
The new range comes hot on the heels of Masons’ eye-catching brand refresh, which included the creation of new logo and a re-designed bespoke arched bottle, and bold coloured flavour cues to create an even stronger stand out for the brand, both on shelf and back of bar. This has been replicated across Masons’ new line-up of vodkas to ensure consistency and recognition across the Masons family.
Masons vodkas are the latest development from the distillery following a £1 million investment, including a flavour development lab and marks the first time the distillery has created a new range to complement its gins.
“We were the first distillery in Yorkshire to start making gin and this spirit of innovation has been our driving force ever since,” explains Karl Mason, who co-founded Masons with wife Cathy on World Gin Day 2013. “We wanted to create a range of vodkas with versatility, perfect for a simple serve or for whipping up into cocktails.
“Consumers are looking for easy ways to recreate their favourite cocktails at home and this new range makes it easier than ever, with flavours that pack a punch. Whether you’re a fan of a classic martini, a simple vodka tonic or a trendy coffee cocktails, there’s something for everyone.”
