LoweConex, a leading provider of Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) for Critical Assets has partnered with Britain’s fourth largest supermarket, Aldi UK and Ireland, to drive asset monitoring and control in Aldi stores.

The partnership will support Aldi’s sustainability goals to be fairer, greener, healthier, and better every day, delivering strong availability and the best in fresh for their customers. The initiative utilises LoweConex’s Switch IWMS platform and a bureau team to manage day-to-day activity of critical assets and will deliver significant energy savings whilst maintaining food safety. By introducing sophisticated automation between existing building management and maintenance software platforms, the solution enables Aldi store colleagues to have more time with customers on the shop floor. LoweConex’s platform delivers detailed analysis and control, as a market leader in food retail asset management, and will revolutionise the way Aldi uses data to drive their commitment to both colleagues and customers to be the nations favourite place to shop.

Ian Lowry, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LoweConex comments: “Aldi exemplifies the innovative spirit that LoweConex was built to support.

“This collaboration will deliver outstanding results in the connected asset space and confirms LoweConex as the leading vendor in food retail asset management, especially across the refrigeration class.

“We’re honoured to begin our partnership with Aldi and are excited to see how they leverage LoweConex to drive even greater impact in their stores.”
