With consumers looking for delicious and convenient options to impress their loved ones (or treat themselves), rostis, parmentier and chips are all favourites – but luxury mash leads the way!
The chilled food market has experienced a significant transformation as customers willingly ‘trade up’, opting for premium, locally sourced products which drive higher sales for retailers as a result. Simultaneously, societal shifts around Valentine’s Day have expanded the market for chilled foods. No longer a holiday reserved for loved-up couples, the rise in popularity for self-care and ‘Galentine’s’ celebrations broadens the demand for at-home dining from a wider demographic.
