Kepak Convenience Foods, the driving force in the UK’s £463 million Hot, Quick & Tasty category, is enhancing its new product development team with the appointment of Alison Yates to the new role of Innovations Manager.
Reporting to Marketing Director John Armstrong, Alison will be responsible for researching and developing new ways in which Kepak can bring category-boosting new products to market, with a focus on the use of new technologies.
Armstrong said: “Successful NPD is one of the platforms on which this business is built. Alison will be responsible for identifying and developing new processes and systems that will enable us to bring even more innovative new products to market, enabling us to accelerate the growth of the Hot, Quick & Tasty category. ”
Alison will be based at Kepak’s UK headquarters in Kirkham, Lancashire.
Her previous experience includes working for 6 years at HJ Heinz in Research & Development and Operations. Before this she worked for Cargill Flavour Systems as a Development Technologist, for Bundaberg Brewed Drinks in Queensland, Australia as a Senior Technologist and spent five years with A G Barr plc in research and development.
