group-1-lffKendermanns, the most awarded German wine brand with an international reputation for quality and innovation has been selected for serving to guests at the forthcoming London Film Festival.

Award winning Kendermanns Sparkling Pinot Noir Blanc de Noir – the Silver Medal winner at the Effervescents du Monde 2008 International competition between the Best Sparkling Wines in the World, Dijon, and Kendermanns Pinot Grigio – the consistent medal winner from the Pfalz region – will be enjoyed during the 16-day long celebration of cinema which runs from 14 – 29 October.

Organised by the British Film Institute (BFI) – the home of film in Britain – this highly regarded and anticipated event in Europe’s cultural calendar attracts leading international film makers, industry professionals and the media together with large public audiences to London for a two-week showcase of the best in contemporary world cinema.

“We are delighted to have Kendermanns as sponsors of the still and sparkling wine served at events to celebrate this year’s Festival,” said Sandra Hebron, Artistic Director of the BFI Festivals. “We are sure they will be enjoyed by the hundreds of guests we shall be welcoming during the Festival.”

Kendermanns wines will be served at no fewer than seven LFF Gala events, including the Opening Night Gala of the great new animated movie “Fantastic Mr Fox” at the Saatchi Gallery on 14th October, starring the voices of George Clooney and Meryl Streep as ‘Mr and Mrs Fox’, and The Times Gala “Men Who Stare At Goats” at Home House on 15th October with a star studded cast led by George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges.
