Waitrose list craft lager cut with fruit, Jubel this August

Jubel, the range of exceptionally refreshing craft lagers cut with fruit is soon to be available in 175 Waitrose stores from 16th August. Already available in Sainsbury’s, Jubel’s growing supermarket listings illustrate the appetite for an alternative craft lager shaking up the category.

Waitrose will offer an introductory deal to customers; the original Jubel Peach for just £1.50 a bottle (RRP £2). The offer runs from 16th August to 22nd September, just in time for the end of summer BBQs and picnics.

Founder, Jesse Wilson discovered demi-p?che in the Alps; a delicious peach-infused beer not brewed back home in the UK. Determined to bring demi-peche to the masses, he set out on a journey. The result is Jubel Peach, a beer with the refreshment of a light fruit cider and the sessionability of a crisp lager at a sociable 4% ABV. The classic pilsner style beer combines lively lager with the zest of ripe peaches.

Jubel Peach is brewed to be very dry and sessionable. A delicately balanced, natural peach essence infuses the beer in post-fermentation to deliver a clear, light-bodied lager with a prominent and refreshing fruit taste.

Jesse Wilson, Co-Founder of Jubel comments:

“We’re thrilled that Waitrose, a supermarket known for selecting only the most exceptional brands, will list Jubel this August. In the last few months, Jubel has seen a rapid growth and Waitrose will help continue the brand’s expansion. Our craft lager cut with fruit offers an alternative in the craft beer category and we look forward to reaching a new audience.”
