To achieve this award, Jackson’s Bakery demonstrated substantial growth in overseas earnings and commercial success to levels that are outstanding in their sector of business. Jackson’s Bakery is the UK’s leading bakery, playing a significant part in the growth of export market, up 25% this year and accounting for £93million industry wide.

Stephen Greenfield, Managing Director of Jackson’s Bakery said: “It is an honour to be presented with this prestigious award. Here at Jackson’s Bakery we believe that the people are the most important factor in creating a successful business. We take pride in our workforce and it’s thanks to their hard work and dedication that we have achieved the high standard of work required for this award.

This is the ‘icing on the cake’ for us, having turned the business around over the past eight years through significant changes and investment we are now quite, what I believe, to be a jewel in the crown for the area and are very proud to represent our region on an international level”.

Jackson’s Bakery has recently undergone a major expansion with new production plants, services and infrastructure in order to create one of the most efficient and modern bread bakeries in Europe.
