iso-site-viewHubbard Products are pleased to announce that they have successfully achieved ISO 9001:2008 accreditation demonstrating their high level of quality control of processes. ISO 9001:2008 certification is used as a benchmark in industry to increase confidence in the products and services provided by certified organisations, between partners in business relationships and in the selection of suppliers in supply chains.

The ISO accreditation for ‘’The design & manufacture of commercial & transport refrigeration equipment’’, following a nine month review of the company’s design and manufacturing processes, is a globally recognised quality standard, which is awarded to companies that meet high-level standards for the way in which they implement internal processes. The award complements the company’s ISO 14001:2004 award which was successfully completed in June 2009.

Fraser Hale, Engineering Director comments ‘’The programme involved a complete review of the company’s design & manufacturing processes, bringing them into line with the latest version of the quality standard and other industry best practice guidelines. This standard is part of an Integrated Management system that has been built up at Hubbard over recent years and 9001:2008 will be used in conjunction with 14001:2004 to help us to continue to consistently deliver high quality products and services with minimal environmental impact’’.

Certification was audited by Anglo Japanese American Registrars (AJA), an independent auditor of quality and environmental systems. Hubbard Products is one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of refrigeration and cooling equipment to receive this certification from AJA.

The auditor’s closing comments were that he “had no hesitation in recommending Hubbard Products for accreditation; it had been a pleasure auditing the company and its highly professional personnel”.
