Holland’s Pies, the nation’s favourite frozen pie brand[1], has announced a NEW national listing of its Frozen Potato & Meat Family Pie in Tesco following its successful launch in the North West.

One of Holland’s bestselling flavour profiles[2], Potato & Meat, hit shelves nationally in Tesco stores as of 11th January, offering variety and choice in the market.

Made with a new, crumblier shortcrust pastry and British sourced meat, all Holland’s Pies’ recipes contain no preservatives, MSG, artificial colours, artificial flavours or hydrogenated fats. At 650g, the Family Pie range is the perfect size for a family of four and ideally suited for the ‘together time’ meal occasion, which has grown by +103m occasion vs. 2018[3].

The Holland’s Family Pie range has been going down a storm in selected North West Morrisons, ASDA, Tesco, Farmfoods, Iceland and Heron stores since October.

With an RRP of £3.20 in frozen, the Potato & Meat Family Pie is the perfect family winter warmer, as it can be easily cooked in the oven in just 50 minutes. The crumbly shortcrust pastry supplies the familiar oven baked taste which will be perfect for the coldest, darkest, and cosiest season of the year.

Leanne Holcroft, Brand Manager for Holland’s Pies said: “As the nation’s bestseller of frozen pies[4], we are thrilled to introduce our Potato & Meat Frozen Family Pie to the national market.

“For some families across the country, the Potato & Meat flavour may be the first ever Holland’s Pie they taste, so we’re excited to hear what they think, and we look forward to further roll out nationally of this product in 2021.”

The new national listing will continue to be supported by an integrated PR and social media strategy to drive awareness throughout the traditional ‘pie season’ in the winter months.
