Hilltop Honey, the second largest honey brand in the UK, leads category expansion with the launch of Hilltoppers. An innovative range of spreadable honey, flavours include Sweet & Salty, Cocoa Honey, Chai Spiced, Whipped and Pink. The range will launch on Ocado from 26th March and available in Asda from mid April.
With 99.8% of British households purchasing bread*, the UK consumes almost 11 million loaves of bread a year and Hilltoppers is specifically designed for toast, offering a natural spread option, free from sugars and additives which many consumers are trying to avoid.
Made from 100% natural ingredients and flavours such as a pinch of natural sea salt in Sweet & Salty as well as cocoa powder sourced from West Africa in Cocoa Honey, it’s unique creamy texture and interesting flavour combinations will provide a distinct taste experience for new and existing honey lovers.
In addition, 10% of proceeds from Pink will go towards two breast cancer charities – Coppa Feel and Breast Cancer Now.

Most honey products talk to traditional buyers but they’re not attracting or recruiting younger shoppers to the category. We did exactly this with Hot Honey, which went down a storm, and now we’re doing the same with Hilltoppers. Hilltoppers, with its interesting flavours and ability to be spread, will be a honey lovers’ perfect partner to their morning toast.”
Hilltop’s Hilltoppers range will launch Pink exclusively in Asda, as well as Cocoa and Sweet & Salty, while Chai will be available on Ocado, with an RRP £2.75.
