The new two-year sponsorship deal will support Eilish, a successful middle-distance runner who has twice represented Great Britain at Olympic level, as she prepares to compete at both the upcoming World Championships in Doha, Qatar, in September, and at the Tokyo Olympics next year.

“We passionately believe that what you eat is a big part of who you are AND what you can be – so we are thrilled and so excited to be partnering with Eilish to support her in her quest for Gold,” commented Priyesh Patel, Managing Director of Eat Real.

“Eilish is the perfect partner for our business as we share the same values in terms of healthier eating.  As an established and respected leading brand in a competitive marketplace, we are keen to communicate how healthier snacking can play a crucial role towards a healthier lifestyle and Eilish, with her success on the track and her obvious dedication to health and wellbeing, will be a valuable ambassador for Eat Real.

“Getting people engaged with our values and reaching out to them so that they have the opportunity to share our passion is at the very core of what we’re about.”

As part of her ambassador role, Eilish will make a number of appearances alongside Eat Real at a range of trade and consumer shows and events – the first being the Allergy & Free From Show in London in July.

“I’m really excited to be partnering with Eat Real – I’ve genuinely loved the snacks for years!” says Eilish. “Tough daily training schedules can put your body through tremendous challenges so it’s crucial that I refuel with snacks that really deliver on taste but don’t compromise my strict dietary regime.

“I first discovered Eat Real a couple of years ago and there’s not a single flavour that I don’t like.  We stand for the same things – healthy eating, healthy lifestyles and keeping fit and active and you could say I’m addicted – but in a good way!

“The next few months as I prepare for the World Championships and work towards selection for Tokyo will be personally very challenging in many respects but to have the support of a major brand like Eat Real behind me is a real bonus! I think it’s a brilliant partnership and I couldn’t have asked for anything more.”

Scots-born Eilish is a successful medal-winning middle-distance runner who now competes in 5000m, 10,000m and road race events at the highest level.  She has twice represented GB at the Olympic Games – in 2012 in London and 2016 in Rio, where she reached the final of the Women’s 5000m.  She is now in training and hopes to represent Great Britain at the World Championships in Doha later this year and the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
