Duck and speciality poultry supplier Gressingham Foods has expanded its added-value offering to include two new duck products – Duck Legs in Orange Sauce and Duck Legs in Plum Sauce – available exclusively in Sainsbury’s. Marketed under the Suffolk-based company’s own Gressingham Foods brand, the two new lines are attractively priced at £3.99 retail for 400g and are ready to eat in just 30 minutes, making an indulgent duck meal even more accessible and convenient for Sainsbury’s shoppers.
Gressingham worked closely with fellow Suffolk company, Stokes Sauces, to create the classic duck accompaniments of a zesty orange sauce and aromatic, sweet plum sauce. Developed using the finest natural ingredients sourced locally where possible, Gressingham’s commercial managing director, William Buchanan, believes the tasty sauces are the perfect complement to the company’s quality duck legs, with the regional provenance of the products further appealing to consumers.
