Statestrong Ltd, based in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, has grown into one of the largest UK independent manufacturers of personal care and household products, gaining two prestigious Queen’s Awards for Exports in 1996 and 1998. The company now export to over 64 countries.
The business strategy has been to develop a range of products in a number of packaging forms including Aerosols, Blister Packs and PET bottles. The latest innovation is a 750ml PET hand wash bottle, designed and created for them by Graham Packaging at their Chalgrove facility.
The new 750ml bottle will enable Statestrong to increase their presence in the discount hand wash sector. Neil Kerrod, Sales Manager at Graham Packaging says, “We have been working closely with Statestrong for over four years producing a number of innovative bottle shapes and sizes for their Shelley range of personal care products and Flower Shop hand washes. The 750ml PET bottle represents a great partnership between Graham Packaging and Statestrong. Our design team has worked closely with the marketing and purchasing departments of Statestrong to create this innovative and lightweight bottle.”
The new bottle size will enable the Statestrong hand wash products to gain a further niche across the UK and Export markets. The Graham 750ml bottle allows Statestrong to control packaging costs and offer a value pack for customers in this growing market sector. The value range will be welcomed not only in households but also in high volume user outlets such as schools, hospitals and office environments where personal hygiene is being encouraged.
The new larger bottle, in such an elegant design, will encourage use and therefore help with the reduction in the spread of germs. For further details of stock and bespoke bottle designs in PET and rPET contact:
