Gordon’s, the UK’s favourite gin brand[1], has launched its new alcohol-free alternative, Gordon’s 0.0% (0.0% ABV) in a mixed ready-to-drink (RTD) can. The RTD format is currently available in Sainsbury’s and wholesale – set to be rolled out across wider off trade outlets throughout 2021.

This new format follows the successful launch of Gordon’s 0.0% in December 2020, which was the leading brand within no and low spirits in terms of value sales in January this year[2]. With the low and no alcohol RTD category currently experiencing growth at +30%[3], the Gordon’s 0.0% Alcohol Free Spirit & Tonic premixed can is expected to be a favourite within the convenience and summer occasions.

Made using only the finest distilled botanicals, just like Gordon’s London Dry Gin, new Gordon’s 0.0% and tonic provides the bold, juniper-led character you know and expect from the brand with a zesty, fresh lime aroma to make a delicious, perfectly mixed ready to drink alcohol free alternative to your usual choice of Gordon’s and tonic.

Charlotte Gibbon, GB Head of Marketing at Gordon’s says “Following the huge success of Gordon’s 0.0%, we have expanded the range and introduced Gordon’s 0.0% mixed with tonic in a ready-to-drink can. This product is a convenient way for people to enjoy a delicious alcohol free option – especially during upcoming summer occasions as the days get longer and warmer.

We know that people don’t want to compromise on taste and experience when opting to go alcohol free. This exciting innovation offers a solution for those on-the-go consumers who still want to enjoy the zesty taste of Gordon’s but are choosing not to have alcohol.”

Diageo’s portfolio of RTD formats continues to grow. Earlier this year, Tanqueray London Dry Gin & Tonic, and Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla & Tonic launched brand new RTD can formats, available in single 250ml cans. Tapping into the growing RTD category, the variants meet the increasing demand for premium premix products in a convenient format.
