Freshlay Golden Yolks, the latest addition to Noble Foods’ stable of UK-produced free-range egg products, has received the stamp of approval from critics, winning its first Great Taste award within months of hitting shelves. Freshlay launched exclusively in Co-Op at the end of January and has seen 15% of sales since then come from new shoppers who hadn’t previously purchased eggs in Co-Op. Freshlay Golden Yolks are laid by free-range hens fed on a diet of natural paprika and marigold to give their deep, golden colour.
