Becoming the first british cocktail brand to make the grade
FUNKIN COCKTAILS is the first UK-based cocktail brand to become a certified B Corporation, or B Corp, it announced today (13th April 2023).
Joining a select group of companies which have passed the rigorous B Corp accreditation process, FUNKIN’s new B Corp status signifies the company meets high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
This comes at a time when consumers are increasingly aware of – and influenced by – brands’ sustainability credentials when making purchasing decisions. In fact, two-thirds of shoppers say ‘sustainability’ is more important to them now that it was two years ago[1], while increasing numbers of consumers are concerned about ‘greenwashing’.[2]
As part of the comprehensive application, FUNKIN COCKTAILS was commended for its commitment to its employees, as well as its policies and overall company mission.
