Waitrose has announced an exclusive new partnership with renowned chef and seafood champion Rick Stein, his first ever supermarket food range. Designed to bring the flavours of iconic coastal dining into the comfort of your home, the collection features nine restaurant-quality, British sourced fish and seafood dishes, and will land on Waitrose shelves and online from 7 October.

Every dish in the range celebrates responsibly sourced British fish, combining premium ingredients with Rick Stein’s decades of culinary expertise and passion for simple, brilliant seafood. From effortless mid-week suppers to indulgent weekend feasts, the range has been designed to meet customers’ demand for exceptional seafood, which is straightforward and stress-free to cook.

Rick Stein comments: “In the new range with Waitrose, we’ve focused on fish you can feel confident about – thoughtfully sourced, full of flavour, and something to be enjoyed at home without any fuss. There’s a real sense of the British coast running through it, particularly Cornwall where it all began for me, but also the influence of the many places I’ve travelled and the flavours I’ve come to love along the way.  For me, it’s always been about keeping things simple – great fish, good ingredients, and letting them speak for themselves.”

The new Rick Stein with Waitrose range brings true culinary innovation to Waitrose shelves with a series of market firsts. Showcasing pioneering en papillote packaging, the Hake and Scottish Loch Trout steam-cook effortlessly for peak delicacy and flavour. Meanwhile, the range’s Panko White Fish Gratin offers a fresh take on a traditional fish pie, using Panko breadcrumbs instead of mash and containing rich Scottish smoked haddock, which has been smoked in one of the last of its kind, heritage brick chimneys in Grimsby, via a century-old technique.

The new range features year-round coastal classics alongside special festive showstoppers which will be landing on shelves in time for Christmas.

We’ve focused on showcasing the absolute best of responsibly sourced British fish.
