Today, Fridge Raiders, a proud part of Pilgrim’s Food Masters, has announced an expansion to its popular Chicken Bites range with the relaunch of Fridge Raiders Festive Chicken & Stuffing Chicken Bites. The new SKU will be available exclusively at Tesco from 24 October. The relaunch follows the success of the range last year, and once again combines the classic chicken and stuffing flavouring that shoppers know and love, in a handy on-the-go packet. Fridge Raiders Festive Chicken & Stuffing Chicken Bites is a limited-edition expansion of one of the brand’s best-loved products, allowing retailers to excite customers in the lead up to Christmas.

True to the original recipe, the re-launch is made from 100% chicken breast and high in protein, offering shoppers a healthier snacking alternative throughout the festive period.  As consumers are opting for healthier snacks, Fridge Raiders Festive Chicken & Stuffing Chicken Bites are a great option for those who want to indulge, but don’t want to compromise their healthy lifestyle.

The festive season presents a huge opportunity for retailers to boost sales, with two-thirds of shoppers agreeing that Christmas is a time to splash out on food.1 Building on the seasonal shopper excitement, this Christmas will lead to extra basket spend as friends and families are able to reunite. Additionally, 55% of shoppers say they always look out for new and exciting products during this time.2 Fridge Raiders Festive Chicken & Stuffing Chicken Bites will allow retailers to excite customers with a brand they already know is a favourite with customers.

Fridge Raiders first launched its limited-edition Fridge Raiders Festive Chicken & Stuffing Chicken Bites in November 2020 and proved a hit with consumers. The limited-edition range boosted brand sales by 20% during the festive period and ranked within the top six of the food-to-go market for snacks.3 The relaunch this year will allow retailers to offer even more snacking choices this Christmas, helping drive rate of sale.
