New frozen pizza brand launches across 375 ASDA stores nationwide
Freiberger Group, one of Europe’s leading frozen pizza manufacturers, has launched Ernie’s Pizza exclusively at ASDA, with the new frozen pizza brand now available across 375 stores nationwide.
Inspired by Freiberger founder Ernst Freiberger and his passion for great pizza without unnecessary fuss, Ernie’s Pizza brings a straightforward approach to the frozen pizza category, with four stone baked sourdough varieties: Margherita and Pepperoni out now, BBQ Chicken and Meat Feast launching next week.
Available at an RRP of £3.74, Ernie’s Pizza is currently included in ASDA’s 4 for £5 frozen promotion, offering shoppers an accessible and convenient option.
The brand takes its name and inspiration from Ernst Freiberger, who opened a small pizzeria in Berlin in 1975, driven by a passion for great pizza, big flavour and a straightforward approach to food.
More than 50 years later, Freiberger Group has grown into a major European manufacturer of frozen pizzas, snacks and pasta products, producing food for leading supermarket own-brand ranges across Europe.
