New oat bars bring a classic flavour to free-from snacking

Leading free from food brand FREEE has expanded its popular oat bar range with the launch of new Organic Coconut & Chocolate Oat Bars, bringing a new flavour to its on-the-go snacking offer.

Made with sustainably-grown British gluten free oats, chopped coconut and rich chocolate drops containing 55% cocoa solids, the new bars combine fragrant coconut and rich chocolate flavour with FREEE’s trusted free from credentials. They are high in fibre, certified gluten free and organic, suitable for vegans and made without the top 14 allergens[i].

The launch builds on growing momentum for FREEE’s oat bar range and introduces what the brand believes to be the first truly free-from coconut and chocolate snack bar. With coconut remaining a strong ingredient trend within free from and chocolate a key purchase driver in snacking, the new bars bring together two established shopper appeals in one convenient format.

Clare Marriage, Founder of FREEE, said: “Innovation in free from is about far more than simply removing gluten. Shoppers are looking for products that combine great taste, carefully selected ingredients and everyday convenience, and our new Organic Coconut & Chocolate Oat Bars have been developed with those needs in mind.

“The result is a familiar coconut and chocolate flavour combination, backed by the trusted FREEE credentials shoppers expect and offering retailers something genuinely new in free from snacking.”

FREEE Organic Coconut & Chocolate Oat Bars (4 x 35g) will launch in selected Sainsbury’s stores and Ocado from September and are also available at www.freee-foods.co.uk. RRP £2.80.
