New on-pack promotion offers the chance to become head brewer for a day

The pioneer of British craft lager, Freedom Brewery, has partnered with Aldi to bring something new to the supermarkets famous drinks range – the opportunity for a customer to become a head brewer for the day and produce their very own beer.

The award-winning independent brewer has worked with Aldi to create the unique on-pack promotion that will be accessible with every purchase of either its Lager (4% ABV) or Session IPA (3.8% ABV) 330ml four-packs, while limited stocks last.

One lucky customer is being given the chance to become head brewer at the craft lager specialist*, visit Freedom Brewery HQ to learn all about craft beer production and after a few samples of beer, decide on the ingredients that will go into the development of a limited-edition beer.

The UK’s 4th largest supermarket has created a cult following in recent years thanks to the distinctive nature of its middle aisle and the broad range of products and offers it holds – but this addition certainly stands out from the rest.

Freedom Brewery was founded in 1995 and is renowned as the first purveyor of craft lager in the UK. The brewery utilises long, cold fermentation over 14 days, and long, slow maturation over a minimum of four weeks, to produce craft beer that is full bodied and flavoured, while also refreshingly crisp and drinkable.
