It’s time to celebrate: f’real, the leading self-serve milkshake brand in the UK, has today announced not one but two highly anticipated additions to its range of delicious blend-it-yourself beverages: Birthday Cake and Banana.

US favourite f’real flavour Cake Batter lands on UK shores this summer as Limited Edition Birthday Cake. The sweet and deliciously indulgent Birthday Cake premium milkshake tastes just like the real thing, complete with multicoloured sprinkles. This flavour evokes childhood memories of licking your spoon when baking with the family, meaning those in need of a nostalgia fix can now have their cake and drink it too.

Brand new f’real flavour Banana is made with real banana puree, fresh milk, rich dairy ice cream and zero artificial ingredients. With banana one of the top three milkshake flavours of choice among UK consumers[1], you’d be bananas not to stock it!

To mark the launch of these new flavours, the entire f’real range is having a packaging refresh to further increase shelf appeal and make the products even more eye-catching and ‘Instagrammable’.

The dairy drinks category is up 48.6% on last year, growing to £306.5m[2], with milkshakes and flavoured milk responsible for much of those gains. With 20K+ blenders installed worldwide and over 350 million cups sold, f’real is a destination product made with honest ingredients, a bespoke treat that consumers can blend according to their own tastes. It is both an exciting opportunity for operators keen to tap into the frozen beverage market, and a unique, restaurant-quality proposition for shoppers looking for a snack that’s a little more special.
