Fast-growing German food company, yfood, continues to expand within the UK market, securing a momentous listing in the UK’s largest supermarket chain, Tesco.
yfood’s range of ready-to-drink meals will be stocked in every Tesco Extra store in the UK, which totals more than 250 stores, as well as over 100 Tesco Superstores from 18th September.
The listing includes three of yfood’s classic range flavours; Fresh Berry, Smooth Vanilla and Classic Choco.
The listing highlights yfood’s accelerated growth within the UK, having secured distribution in Tesco, WHSmith, Superdrug, Spar and Nisa in the last 4 months alone, adding to their existing national presence in Holland & Barrett and selected Co-op stores.
Nutritionally complete with 26 essential vitamins and minerals, along with 34g of protein and fibre, yfood is the perfect choice for time-poor consumers looking for a healthy meal, and will become much more accessible to many target consumer groups with the nationwide Tesco listing.
yfood has identified that eating a healthy balanced diet sometimes proves difficult, especially when people have no time or access to healthy food. Ready-to-drink meals from the yfood brand have been developed to fill the gap smartly, particularly when fresh and healthy meals aren’t available.
Paul Sloane, UK & Ireland Country Manager says: “It’s been an exciting time for yfood in the UK and our recent listing in Tesco feels like a real game-changer for the brand as we continue to grow within the convenience and smart food categories.
“We’re thrilled to now be stocked across more than 350 Tesco stores, massively increasing the accessibility of our products. Retail listings remain a real testament to our hard work and commitment to help get our products into shoppers hands, and we can’t wait to see them start appearing on the shelves in Tesco stores.”
yfood’s portfolio of products is also available to purchase online and in-store at Holland & Barrett as well as selected Co-Op, Nisa, Spar, WHSmith and Superdrug stores across the UK. yfood provides multiple solutions, for dairy and vegan shoppers, with both options provided as lactose free, gluten free and no added sugars.
