Irish chocolate lovers big and small will be excited to hear that the first sustainable kids chocolate surprise egg brand, Forest of Hope, has launched in Ireland, available now in Tesco Ireland stores.
The Fairtrade-accredited brand, owned by Kinnerton, has sustainability at its core. Forest of Hope works closely with farmers in Sierra Leone’s Gola Rainforest who grow their cocoa in harmony with the surroundings to protect it and its endangered wildlife, whilst creating a livelihood for farmers families and building local communities.
The range of nine delicious nut-free eggs come with a range of fun-filled activities for kids to enjoy, each opening up to reveal a different surprise animal native to the Gola Rainforest, such as the Pygmy Hippo and African Forest Elephant.
The chocolate treats contain over thirty exciting challenge cards to collect including family activity games to complete and mind-blowing animal facts, all made using 100% recyclable materials.
At 90kcal per portion and nut-free, Forest of Hope offers the perfect treat, as well as striving to educate and share knowledge on the environment, wildlife and how to live more responsibly.
