Epson announces five new tapes for its LabelWorks range, including the first glow-in-the-dark, reflective and heat resistant tapes in the label maker market. In addition, Epson’s iron on tapes do not need separate material or protective covering to attach to clothing.
These tapes are designed to offer professional industries, such as warehouse departments, audio visual installation services, electricians and much more, a far wider choice when it comes to asset tagging, security labelling and identification.
Glow-in-the-dark tape – available in 18mm width, priced at £34.99
Lasting up to eight hours in the dark, this tape allows users to label important equipment and areas, such as stairs and emergency exits.
Reflective tape – available in 18mm, priced at £23.99
Users can asset tag important items in low light levels and, thanks to its durable, long-lasting coating, can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Heat resistant tape – available in 12mm width, priced at £17.99
Able to resist temperatures up to 225 Celsius, this tape is ideal for directly tagging equipment that regularly reaches high temperatures, such as pipes and computer circuits.
Iron on tape – available in 12mm width, priced at £18.99
Ideal for catering, maintenance and healthcare industries that need to easily attach name tags, this tape can be ironed directly onto clothing.
Vivid tape – already available in 12mm and now in 18mm width, priced at £21.99
This tape features white text on a black background and is ideal for bold, stand-out labelling.
Graeme Davidson, business manager, Epson UK, says: “With these five new tapes – including three that are completely new to the market – we’re able to offer users a wider choice when it comes to creating their ideal labels. Thanks to their durable and long lasting coating, all labels can be used in a variety of environments both indoor and outdoor.”
All tapes are compatible with Epson’s range of LabelWorks printers and are available from June.
