tbred2When T&B Containers, the UK’s number one supplier of vegetable packaging boxes decided that they wanted to support British agriculture, they realised they needed a corrugated packaging partner that could deliver high quality print, consistently.

DS Smith Packaging Clay Cross, already recognised for printing expertise by recent EFTA awards, was delighted to support T&B by using ImageRight. This element of DS Smith Packaging’s PackRight tool kit helps safeguard brand appearance and increase consumer appeal through a systematic colour management process.

The new British Grown Produce tray is the latest edition to T&B’s extensive offering. It is a first class example of how corrugated can help shoppers find what they are looking for quickly. It ensures the product stands out on the shelf and, in this instance, it even identifies the product’s origin! One of the designers at Clay Cross carried out some research in local supermarkets. He learnt that many shoppers frequently ask which produce is grown in Britain.

Tim Curtis of T&B Containers commented: “Our business is all about helping our customers who grow in Britain and pack in Britain. We know that many shoppers want to buy good tasty British produce and this development helps them identify it instantly. We are delighted at the way DS Smith Packaging has helped develop this print concept and get it to market.”
