Cadbury is bringing consumers a brand-new innovation this new year with the unveiling of Cadbury Delights, a delicious new range of bars coated in Cadbury chocolate, with a soft nougat filling and caramel layer inside. At just 91 calories per bar, they cater to consumers looking for lower calorie options within the chocolate category. The range comprises of three delicious flavours: Salted Caramel, Orange & Caramel and Hazelnut & Caramel.

The Cadbury Delights range has been developed with taste and flavour front of mind. As a result, the bars hit the sweet spot for permissible indulgence without compromise, with delicious flavours enrobed in the iconic Cadbury chocolate taste which consumers know and love. At the same time, they answer to the growing demand for mindful self-treating with 81% of consumers saying they would buy the new Cadbury Delights bars[i] – so they’re on track to help retailers offer a compelling proposition to confectionery consumers and drive sales in 2023 and beyond.

The launch of Cadbury Delights will be amplified through a new ‘Unbelievably True’ creative campaign which will run across digital, audio, PR and sampling to support this latest news from the UK’s number one chocolate brand[ii].

Abi Eayrs, Brand Manager for Cadbury Delights at Mondelēz International, said: “This launch is particularly exciting for the Cadbury brand, as it’s an important part of our mission to offer consumers the right snack, for the right moment. Consumers are increasingly looking for lower calorie snacks where they don’t have to compromise on taste or satisfaction, with the lower calorie chocolate category growing by over 21% annually[iii]. We believe our new range of Cadbury Delights presents a huge opportunity for retailers and wholesalers to drive incremental sales.”

The new range will be available across the three flavours in multipacks of 5x 22g bars. As part of a pledge we made in 2020 to help consumers make more health-conscious, informed choices, all of our Cadbury chocolate bars sold as part of a multipack have been brought to under 200 calories. Cadbury Delights will join this range as the first treat under 100 calories from Cadbury specifically made for adult consumers.
