Bakery specialist, Delice de France, officially demerged from ARYZTA AG on Friday 4th October at 09:00, through a management buyout led by Managing Director, Thierry Cacaly and his MBO team; Anthea Chia, Jenny Bayliss, Max Hilton Jenvey, Martin Sturgess and non-executive director Philippe Carrier.
Thierry Cacaly commented: “This bold move represents an outstanding milestone in the company’s 35-year history. I am delighted to confirm our ongoing exclusive relationship with ARYZTA AG, which guarantees our customers the full range of products and services that they currently enjoy from Delice de France.”
“For the first time since 1984, when the company was founded; we have a passionate, focused and well-seasoned Leadership Team who are dedicated to our customers and colleagues driving innovation across all product categories and the business. What you will notice,” said Cacaly in a statement to customers, “is the new look and feel of our customer first strategy; which I look forward to hearing your feedback on.”

“As ARYZTA AG moves to realign its business towards a more bakery focused offering, it presented a fantastic opportunity for myself and my leadership team to return Delice de France to the renowned independent force within the food and beverage sector since 1984.
“This exciting development will allow Delice de France to focus more on delivering true innovation and quality which the UK market demands; while nurturing our customers and staff to allow us to grow as a business.

The new team has promised customers that it will reach out to them over the next few days and weeks to allow them to discuss any concerns or questions regarding the buyout.
