Crosta & Mollica rolls out two new restaurant-quality, oven-ready meals using traditional Italian recipes exclusively into Ocado
Modern Italian food brand Crosta & Mollica is adding two new SKUs to its oven-ready meal range, with the launch of Lasagne Porcini Mushroom & Prosciutto Ham and Gnocchi Tomato, Basil & Buffalo Mozzarella. Crosta & Mollica’s frozen oven-ready meals encapsulate the intensely rich flavours developed when a dish has been baked in an oven over a long period of time. Both meals will be available exclusively on Ocado from 3rd May 2023, RRP from £5.
Crosta & Mollica offers restaurant-quality meals that can be enjoyed at home, using natural, specially selected ingredients and traditional recipes. The brand first entered the prepared meal sector in 2022 with the launch of its Al Forno range. Now, Crosta & Mollica continues to capitalise on the growing UK market for Italian delicacies with two new Italian staples, served in recyclable packaging.
Lasagne Porcini Mushroom & Prosciutto Ham
Originating from Le Marche, a region famous for its truffles and cured meats, the dish features five layers of fresh egg pasta sheets with besciamella, combined with Italian porcini mushrooms, shredded prosciutto ham and finished with grana Padano cheese. Simply oven-bake for 40-45 minutes. RRP £6, 400g, serves one.
Gnocchi Tomato, Basil & Buffalo Mozzarella
The potato gnocchi is traditionally finished with deep fork grooves to capture the sauce, made with sun-sweetened datterini tomatoes, fresh basil and cow’s milk mozzarella, and topped with buffalo mozzarella. Simply oven-bake for 40-45 minutes. RRP £5, 400g, serves one.
