Clearabee, the on-demand rubbish removal business, today announced that it has been awarded a three-year, multi-million pound contract to provide reactive waste removal services to the Co-op.

Clearabee has been appointed to handle all unplanned waste removal requirements for the Co-op’s retail and Funeralcare businesses across the United Kingdom. Clearabee will provide on-demand removal of bulky waste at the Co-op’s 2,500 retail stores and 1,000 funeral homes nationwide.

The contract is one of Clearabee’s biggest commercial deals ever with in excess of 5,000 on-demand anticipated waste collections a year. Requests will be serviced by Clearabee’s in-house team of 250 people and fleet of 100 vehicles located across the UK.
