Sunderland-based soft drinks brand manufacturer Clearly Drinks has invested in flavoured water brand Revolution Waves for an undisclosed sum. Founded by entrepreneur and former international rugby player Charlie Simpson-Daniel and Dan Norton in 2017, Revolution Waves is now listed in over 100 schools across the UK as well as regional Tesco and Asda stores. With every purchase, 2p is donated to catering departments in schools to support managers with the task of educating students on the importance of diet and exercise.

Boasting a range of four core flavours of raspberry, cherry, cranberry and lemon and lime in 500ml bottles, Revolution Waves aims to promote a healthier lifestyle with its sugar-free, low calorie recipes.

Commenting on the acquisition, Charlie said: “I’m absolutely delighted with the investment Clearly Drinks has made in Revolution Waves. The firm has an incredibly passionate team and we have a shared vision to take the brand to the next level.”
