With the emphasis equally on taste and natural ingredients, it was essential that the outer packaging for the products helped to reflect this image. A high quality shelf appearance therefore had to be balanced with sustainability considerations.
Charapak’s solution was to use their award winning high quality Flexo post print capability onto a recycled corrugated E flute. The result achieves a superior finish while delivering a more favourable environmental profile. A good coverage of ink and excellent colour reproduction creates
an attractive look to maximise on-shelf impact as well as consistency with primary packaging.
The shelf ready packs are also multi-point glued, which delivers efficient packing, strength and an ability to withstand the rigours of the distribution chain, while maintaining their superior appearance throughout. A perforated section is easy to remove to create the on-shelf display trays.
