Cauldron™ set to boost snacking sales with addition of Korean Bites, driving flavour and excitement in chilled plant based

Plant based pioneer, Cauldron™, is adding even more flavour innovation to its bestselling vegan snacking range with latest launch, Korean Bites.

Available exclusively in Tesco from 8^th November, the Cauldron Korean Bites (200g, RRP £2) have been developed for shoppers looking at healthier snacks that deliver on taste and flavour.

“Over 60% of UK consumers are snacking at least once a day^*1 and this is currently the biggest sector in chilled meat free^*2,” says Tom Lindley, Head of Cauldron.

“Shoppers are increasingly looking for healthier snacks in the chilled aisle, and key components such as protein and fibre, are at the forefront of these purchase decisions. Joining the bestselling snacking range from Cauldron, which includes the UK’s No. 1 vegan snack in chilled meat free^*2 – Cauldron Middle Eastern Falafels, this bitesize new product taps into the growing trend for Asian flavours on the go, with a medium chilli spice and subtle citrus balance.

The vegan Cauldron Korean Bites can be eaten hot or cold and are a delicious source of protein, high in fibre, low in saturated fat. Packaged in a 100% recycled and recyclable tray, they will provide shoppers with an option that is better for them and better for the environment.

The launch will be supported by in-store and online shopper marketing, broad reach consumer media and a sustained programme of digital, PR and social media activity.
