KP Snacks is expanding the Butterkist range with the launch of a brand new flavour, Caramelised Biscuit Flavour toffee popcorn. Rolling into stores this July, the new product is the perfect combination of toffee crunch with a delicious biscuit flavour.

Available in 155g sharing bags, Butterkist Caramelised Biscuit Flavour toffee popcorn is a spin on the brand’s classic toffee popcorn with a biscuity twist that’s familiar throughout other snacking formats. The new product offers the perfect accompaniment for any sharing occasion whether this be for a home movie marathon or as a sweet treat. 

At £1.72bn, sharing is the largest segment in CSN, and growing at +9.3% MAT[1]. 

Jenny Blanco Bancia, Marketing Manager at KP Snacks, said “We are excited to add an exciting and delicious flavour to the Butterkist portfolio.  Our new flavour capitalises on the growth of Big Night In and offers customers a fun and tasty new flavour to enjoy during their sharing occasions.” 

The new flavour will be rolling out in Co-op from 22nd July and stocked in Sainsbury’s and Asda shortly after. This launch will be supported with influencer content across different platforms, using the familiar brand slogan of ‘Go grab the Butterkist.’ 

Butterkist is worth £55.9m growing at 5%[2], and is one of KP Snacks most popular brands, dominating the popcorn category. At nearly twice as large as its nearest branded competitor, Butterkist enjoys a 35.4% market share.[3]
