Survey of 10,399 people by Kantar TNS 

The announcement of Bulmers’ victory took place last night at The Product of the Year Awards ceremony, where the much-loved cider was crowned best in the Beer & Cider Category.

Having been taste-tested by over 10,000 shoppers in the UK’s largest annual product innovation survey – Bulmers Original now holds the iconic red seal of approval, pipping competitors to the post, thanks to its new award-winning recipe.

Introduced in 2018, the rejuvenated Bulmers Original recipe increased the number of British apples used. What’s more there are absolutely no artificial flavourings, colours or sweeteners in Bulmers Original’s ingredients, with its refreshing, crisp taste and natural sweetness entirely from its apples. The move by Bulmers means the new recipe is even suitable for vegans too, widening the brand’s appeal.
