Britvic Mixers is launching its Indian Tonic Water in a multipack can format for the first time in retail to help retailers capitalise on the growth of at-home occasions. The 330ml cans will be hitting shelves from the 18th of September and will be available in both classic and zero-sugar variants across the grocery channel.
With the rise in cost of living, 56% of consumers are now going out less to eat and drink as they become increasingly cost conscious.[1] As a result, at-home socialising occasions have grown over the last few years, and customers are looking to recreate an out-of-home experience in the comfort of their own homes.[2] Britvic is looking to tap into the rise in this occasion with its new format, suiting more at-home occasions and shopper needs.
Ben Parker, retail commercial director at Britvic said, “As a brand, predominantly known within the hospitality channel, we are committed to bringing the ‘Great British Pub’ to consumers at home as needs and behaviours continue to evolve. We know that shoppers want to recreate elevated serves they can enjoy out of home, at home too. Already worth £127m in hospitality[3], Britvic mixers is set to disrupt mainstream mixing in grocery and help to attract new shoppers to the brand as they look for value when drinking at home. Each can provides two serves which is ideal for smaller occasions and gives shoppers choice as a result.”
Britvic Indian Tonic Water will be available in a 330ml six-pack format from the 18th of September with an MRSP of £4.25.
