Bostik, a leading provider of stationery and repair adhesives, has announced the relaunch of its Sew Simple fabric adhesive.

This specially formulated multipurpose adhesive is designed to replace the need for sewing when making simple clothing repairs and alterations. It has been rebranded to bring it in line with the company’s wider “Glu and Fix” range of repair adhesives. A new nozzle has also been added to help make application quicker and easier.

Bostik Category Manager Nathalie Rogue commented: “Sew Simple has proven to be a very popular product within our repair adhesives range – offering a quick, reliable way to make lasting repairs to clothes without the need for sewing. This redesign and new nozzle will not only help to boost shelf appeal in store, it will also mean that consumers will find the product easier to use.”

Sew Simple makes a range of jobs quicker and easier, such as securing hems and turn ups, putting name labels in school uniforms, or repairing soft furnishings. It bonds in one minute to form an invisible mend, remaining flexible when dry and resistant to hot washes and ironing, up to 180ºc.
