Independent biscuit manufacturer, Border Biscuits, is set to strengthen its UK foothold through a landmark partnership expansion with Sainsbury’s.
The deal will see Border Biscuits more than double its presence across the supermarket giant’s main retail estate, bolstering its availability UK-wide.
Border Biscuits retail range will now be stocked in almost 1,400 Sainsbury’s stores across the country. Over 200 of those will now carry fifteen SKUs from the Border Biscuits range, including four debut products.
Available on the supermarket’s shelves nationwide, the award-winning biscuit manufacturer continues to drive innovation following its first foray into the fast-growing ‘chocolate biscuit bar’ category.
The independently run business is aiming to emulate the success of its Dark Chocolate Ginger Bars with two new flavoured bars; Milk Chocolate Ginger Bars and Dark Chocolate Ginger & Orange Bars.
Meanwhile, as lockdown measures ease, on-the-go snacking has continued to rise. Border Biscuits is set to cater for the shift in consumption habits with the launch of a convenient ‘Snack Pack’ format, featuring twin individual-wrapped mini packs.
Completing the line-up of new additions launching across Sainsbury’s in-store and online range, a Luxury Chocolate Sharing Pack features two brand new Border Biscuit varieties in the form of Dark Chocolate Raspberry and Milk Chocolate Salted Caramel. The two new flavours are joined by the brand’s famous Dark Chocolate Gingers, Light & Chocolatey Viennese Whirls and Milk Chocolate Shortbread Rings as consumers continue to enjoy catching back up with friends and family.
