A new, premium range of charcuterie snacking launches into Sainsbury’s this week under the Bodega brand. 

Produced by Cranswick Continental Foods, Bodega brings together charcuterie from across the continent to create delicious, convenient combinations.

The range comprises Smoky Salami, Chorizo and Prosciutto; each paired with mellow, creamy cheddar and crisp toasts to create a perfectly portioned snack.

Mary Pennell, Marketing Controller for Cranswick Continental Foods said, “We identified a clear gap in the meat and cheese snacking market for a premium brand to attract the more sophisticated snacker.  By including the signature charcuterie flavours from across Italy, Germany and Spain we have created a range with something for all tastes to have broadest appeal.  Customers will be able to enjoy the versatility of the range either having a Bodega snack for a quick and easy lunch; eating whilst out and about, or enjoying in the evening to relax and unwind.”

The range combined with the new Bodega design with its contemporary colour palate will create real stand out on shelf to bring a new profile of shopper into the category.

All packs contain less than 250 calories, are high in protein and offer a good source of calcium. The range launches in Sainsbury’s with a rrp of £2.25.
