Premier Foods is expanding its Bird’s portfolio with the launch of a two-strong Mousse Mix range, marking the first time the household brand has expanded into this sector. Rolling out in stores from 27th April, the two-strong range – with indulgent Milk Chocolate and silky Salted Caramel flavours – allows people to make luxurious desserts at home that can be customised or tailored quickly and easily. With shoppers looking for more occasions to enjoy sweet treats that they can make themselves, indulgent flavours and textures have emerged as popular options within the category. This popularity is especially true of mousses, which accounted for 144.6m occasions last year.
