Berry Bros. & Rudd Brands has secured five additional Waitrose listings across their portfolio which specialises in premium and luxury spirits.

Showcasing BB&R Brands’ specialism across diverse categories, the new listings include pre-bottled cocktail  No. 3 Vesper Martini, leading Irish whiskey Writers’ Tears Copper Pot, Spanish Vermut Lustau Blanco and two premium Speyside single malts The Glenrothes 12 & 18 Year Old and will be available in Waitrose stores from August 4th 2021.

The No. 3 Vesper Martini, which was initially launched as a limited-edition product with prestige retailer Selfridges, will be available in 150 Waitrose stores. The ready-to-pour version of this classic cocktail was created though a collaboration between No. 3 Gin and Alessandro Palazzi of Mayfair’s iconic DUKES Bar.

Walsh Whiskey’s award-winning Writers’ Tears Copper Pot will be available in 110 stores. Walsh Whiskey joined the BB&R Brands portfolio in April 2021. This is the second UK national listing for Writers’ Tears Copper Pot, following the success of the Copper Pot in Marks & Spencer.

The Lustau Vermut Blanco, produced by famous Spanish sherry producer Lustau has won a 160 store listing. The Blanco joins the existing Rose and Rojo Vermuts which are already listed in Waitrose, completing the full range.

The Glenrothes 12- and 18-Year-Old, both super-premium single malts will be available online and in specifically selected Waitrose stores.

Roy Evans, Marketing & Sales Director Berry Bros. & Rudd: “We’re thrilled to be building upon our strong relationship with Waitrose and John Vine. The five new listings are a wonderful endorsement, both for the newly listed brands and for our work with Waitrose to date. Having already seen strong year on year growth within Waitrose for No. 3 Gin, The King’s Ginger and Lustau Vermut we know that our premium and luxury spirits portfolio resonates with the discerning Waitrose consumer.”

John Vine, Waitrose Spirits Buyer: “I am delighted for both BB&R brands and our customers. Irish whiskey, vermouth and bottled cocktails are all categories seeing significant growth, which has been validated with demand from the Waitrose consumer. No. 3 Gin, Lustau, Writers’ Tears and The Glenrothes are all producers with a dedication to producing the best in category spirits and I am sure they will be popular choices.”
