Plant-fuelled drinks brand Plenish is adding to its selection of award-winning juices and dairy-free m*lks with a new range that brings out the decadent side of a brand famed for making clean, healthy, high-integrity products. The new range of shakes are deliciously indulgent – with flavours Chocolate Almond Shake, Coffee Almond Shake and Almond Butter Shake – but they’re all organic, made with just a handful of natural ingredients and no additives, emulsifiers or stabilisers. All this means you can treat yourself to a sumptuous m*lkshake but with less than half the sugar, 30% less calories and no dairy. Their Coffee Almond Shake, for example, is the lowest sugar in the category, with nearly 70% less sugar than a Starbucks Frappaccino ready-to-go drink!
Plenish are a leading light in the plant-based movement, outgrowing the fastest growing FMCG category (Dairy-Alternative Milks – 19% YOY*) with a staggering annual growth of 62%**. Taking the winning formula of their 1L M*Lks range – great-tasting products made from just a handful of organic, sustainably-sourced ingredients and absolutely no additives or fillers – into a previously untapped market makes total sense, especially when flavoured milks is a bigger category than dairy-alternatives (£280m vs £250m*) and plant-based alternatives in the flavoured milks category are growing at 89% YOY*.
Founder, Kara Rosen, said “Our M*lks regularly win awards for their great taste and come out top in consumer taste tests but this range shows a new, more indulgent side to the brand by delivering the decadent taste of a shake but without the sugar, calories and additives that the category is renowned for. Our mission is to inspire every one of us to make a positive change for a healthier world and this range shows that that doesn’t have to mean sacrificing the things you love. We all want a treat sometimes and now there’s finally one you can feel good about”.
The new range is launching nationwide from March. RRP is £2.
