Following its sell-out success last year, Aldi announces the return of its Bottomless Pigs in Blankets Restaurant. The legendary restaurant, which dished out over 10,000 pigs in blankets to hundreds of visitors last year, will re-open its doors on Bethnal Green Road in Shoreditch, 29th to 30th November.

The news comes as consumer group Which? named Aldi the “Best Place to Buy Pigs in Blankets” this Christmas, scoring the supermarket 79/100, higher than competitors including Tesco (67/100), Sainsbury’s (70/100).

Research by the supermarket reveals Brits are predicted to consume a staggering 668 million pigs in blankets this Christmas, averaging 11.2 per person.

Londoners lead the charge and are set to enjoy 13.7 pigs in blankets each this Christmas, compared to Bristol’s eight, making the restaurant’s return perfectly located.

This year, Aldi’s Pigs in Blankets Restaurant offering is set to be bigger and better, featuring new creations from the supermarket such as the world’s first Footlong Vegan Pig in Blanket, a Pig in Blanket Roulette, and even Loaded Yorkshire Sliders.

Guests will have the chance to pig out on six succulent courses of the festive favourite, plus a bottomless supply of classic Pigs in Blankets and a welcome drink for just £5, with all proceeds going to Neighbourly.
