Aston Manor’s extensive range of world class ciders has triumphed again at the 2020 World Cider Awards, a global awards program celebrating the cream of the crop across all cider styles.

Building on previous successes, and in competition against ciders produced around the globe, Malvern Gold has maintained its 2019 accolade as the World’s Best Still Cider in the taste category. Following suit, Friels First Press Vintage 5.5% and Malvern Cider Co’s Malvern Gold were also both awarded GOLD in the taste category.

Other Aston Manor brands also performed well, including Kingstone Press Apple Cider picking up the Bronze award in the design category. This follows the recent unveiling of the Kingstone Press rebrand, celebrating the brand’s unique authenticity in bringing to life the story of how the cider is crafted with care. The new look is currently being rolled out nationally across On Trade stockists. The brand’s Wild Berry Cider also secured a Bronze award in the taste category.

Calli O’Brien, Brand Controller, Aston Manor, comments: “The strong performance of our ciders at the World Cider Awards was exciting to see and further enhances our reputation for producing great tasting and award-winning ciders.

“It was fantastic to pick up awards in the new design categories and to see Malvern Gold continue its dominance and retain its position as the World’s Best Still Cider.   To be honoured in this way is gratifying for everyone at Aston Manor and is testimony to all the hard work and ongoing development we put into ensuring our extensive range of cider brands continues to be popular and successful.”
