Asda customers visiting the Cwmbran superstore can now enjoy a host of new services and features following a store upgrade.
The site is one of 50 larger stores across the UK that Asda is upgrading as part of a £50m investment programme. The upgrades to these stores include:
- Decoration refresh on entrance, including new matting
- The addition of new modern fixtures, graphics, and refresh of the George department
- New general merchandising proposition including feature lighting
- Seasonal aisles reconfigured
- Enhancing the look and feel of the optical department
- New look counters
The store has also been decorated inside and outside, new signage has been installed and the toilet facilities have been improved.
Ian Brackenbury, Senior Director of Construction and Implementation, at Asda, said:?“This upgrade programme is all about creating a better experience for our customers – from fresh new looks to added services that make a real difference. We want our stores to feel welcoming and to make sure that every customer visit is smooth and enjoyable.”
