Alpro – the UK’s number one plant-based beverages brand[1] – has launched a new caramel flavour barista beverage to give customers an authentic coffee shop experience from the comfort of their own homes.
With total barista plant-based drinks currently in double digit growth[2] (+19.2%) and caramel being the preferred flavour choice of UK consumers[3], Alpro is directly answering a need with its latest launch. As a non-High Fat Sugar Salt product, the new beverage also aligns with Danone UK & Ireland’s health commitments, providing shoppers with a healthy* and tasty plant-based beverage alternative.Over 18 months in the making, the new product launch offers a perfectly balanced and indulgent taste to complement a variety of coffee types and is extremely versatile, making it ideal for both foaming and whitening coffee.
All Alpro products are plant-based and Barista Caramel Flavour is no exception; it’s vegan, lactose-free and dairy-free.

Alpro will be supporting the launch of the Barista Caramel Flavour with an ATL campaign which will go live from this month (September 2024). The campaign will include product placement opportunities across breakfast TV, as well as utilise influencers on social media.
