Aldi is helping football fans celebrate England’s World Cup journey for less by cutting the price of its Specially Selected Prosecco every time the Three Lions progress through the tournament.

If England qualifies from the group stages, Aldi will cut the price of its Specially Selected Prosecco from £7.99 to just £6.99.

Further discounts will be unlocked with each knockout-stage victory, giving shoppers even bigger savings as England advances through the competition.

Each promotional price will be available for 24 hours within 48 hours of the match, before returning to the standard retail price of £7.99. Further discounts will only be triggered if England progresses to the next stage of the tournament.

If England continues its World Cup run, customers could unlock the following 24-hour discounts:

  • Group stage qualification: £6.99
  • Round of 32 win: £6.49
  • Round of 16 win: £5.99
  • Quarter-final win: £5.49
  • Semi-final win: £4.99
  • World Cup win: £4.49

Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: “We know many shoppers will be getting together with friends and family to watch England throughout the World Cup, so we wanted to make those celebrations even more affordable.

“With every England victory, shoppers will unlock even bigger savings on our Specially Selected Prosecco.”

The promotion applies to Aldi’s Specially Selected Prosecco and will be available in stores nationwide.
