Reh Kendermann wines have achieved their best ever performance at the recent International Mundus Vini 2013 competition winning 9 gold medals and 5 silver medals.
At the same time Reh Kendermann were also awarded a further 4 gold medals and 3 silver medals at the 2013 Berlin Wine Trophy, underlining the outstanding and consistent quality of Germany’s foremost wine brand company.
Mundus Vini is one of the world’s leading wine competitions. Held each year the international jury of experts sample over 6,000 wines from more than 40 countries, awarding medals for outstanding quality. Judging is in accordance with the stringent guidelines set by the International Organisation of Vine and Wine and the International Union of Oenologists. With the toughest competition from the world’s finest wines, Reh Kendermann have scored an outstanding success.
Among the gold medals awarded to Reh Kendermann wines were Black Tower Riesling Classic, Kendermanns Riesling trocken and Kendermanns Riesling Classic. Val Duna Pinot Grigio, the wine brand from Reh Kendermanns own winery in Romania was also recognised with a silver medal.
Alongside the success at Mundus Vini, the world’s largest officially recognised wine competition, Reh Kendermann wines also recorded gold and silver medals at the Berlin Wine Trophy 2013 this summer.
In this year’s most recent competition, Kendermann’s Riesling Classic 2012 was awarded gold along with The Bend in the River Riesling 2011 and the exciting South African joint venture wine, Waka Waka which again won gold for the Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 2010.
Black Tower, Reh Kendermann’s iconic global brand, collected 2 further silver medals in Berlin, for Black Tower Pink Bubbly 2012 and Black Tower Riesling Classic 2012.
