Rug Doctor, the UK’s carpet care specialists, exhibited at this year’s Cleaning Show at the Excel Centre in London. Rug Doctor showcased their most recent product launch – the Portable Spot Cleaner as well as other hero products.

The Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner was named as one of just four finalists in the Cleaning Show Innovation Awards at this year’s show. The Portable Spot Cleaner has applications for both commercial and domestic use. In hotels, bars, restaurants and other hospitality locations it can quickly mop up spills and remove stains from carpets and upholstery rather than having to do a whole room clean. In the health sector, it is the perfect product for nursing and care homes where urine accidents and food and drink spills can be quickly tackled with minimum disruption. For contract cleaners, it is a simple and quick solution to remove individual spots and stains in office and educational establishments. Rug Doctor’s new Oxy Spot Remover, which has been specially formulated for use in the machine, comes in a 1 litre bottle and features the new Blue Wave™ odour neutraliser as part of its cleaning action.
For domestic use, the Rug Doctor Spot Cleaner is ideal for keeping on hand in the home for immediately tackling food and drink spills, pet puddles and even nappy overflows, as well as being great for cleaning car or caravan interiors.
The Cleaning Show is the UK’s number one cleaning and hygiene event, designed specifically for the cleaning and support services sector, where some of the latest and greatest cleaning products and devices are showcased.
This year Rug Doctor is also entering the UK retail market with a totally new consumer orientated product – the Rug Doctor Deep Carpet Cleaner. This new machine has been designed for powerful stain removal, ease of use, manoeuvrability and the robustness that is synonymous with Rug Doctor products. It will be launched in November.
Rug Doctor also exhibited their new Professional X3 machine at the Show. This new commercial version of the successful retail machine which was launched in the UK a couple of years ago and has been a success from the off.
The show was also a perfect platform for Rug Doctor to show off their other market leading, commercial hot water extraction, carpet cleaning machines, such as the Rug Doctor Pro Quick Dry as well as their award winning sprays and detergents.
