Illumination’s Minions & Monsters is in Theatres Now
BARRATT Sweet Shop®, in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences (UP&E), is bringing a wave of joyful mischief to its confectionery range with the launch of two new SKUs inspired by Illumination’s Minions.
Available exclusively in Poundland from 6th July 2026, the brand-new line-up includes BARRATT Sweet Shop® Sweet Bananaaaaa gummies and Fizzy Bananaaaaa gummies, featuring banana-flavoured gums with a light sugar coating in both sweet and fizzy flavours. Inspired by the iconic Minions, this launch represents a perfect comedic and flavour alignment.
Following closely behind this innovation across the Valeo Foods UK portfolio, Poppets® will also receive a mischievous packaging refresh arriving on shelves from 29th June 2026. The core Poppets® range will feature limited-edition Minions-themed packaging, with artwork turning the classic packs into ‘Minion-sized missions’, featuring classic characters exploring the classic chocolate pouches and cartons. This refresh blends soft indulgence with cheeky characters, driving impulse sales and bringing humour while offering a safe, fun, and family-friendly sweet treat.
BARRATT Sweet Shop® Sweet Bananaaaaa gummies and Fizzy Bananaaaaa gummies are available in a 120g pouch, both with an RRP of £1.00. The Poppets® range includes Milk Chocolate Coated Chewy Toffees and the Dark Chocolate Coated Mint Creams. Both variants will be available in a 130g pouch with an RRP of £1.20, and a 40g carton with an RRP of £0.60.
The Poppets® range is available now in major retailers including Asda, Morrisons, and Tesco, as well as via Cash & Carry wholesalers. From 6th July, the BARRATT Sweet Shop® range will be available exclusively in Poundland.
